vermillion-crown replied to your post: vermillion-crown replied to your post: Blergh Why… True… but at the heart, tumblr is a blog about oneself. and if there’s nothing directly from one on one’s blog, then it makes the whole blog rather pointless imo. #secretly creeping on everybody’s personal posts As a blog, yes, tumblr is an expression of your own interests and beliefs. But I feel it...

Whee thoughts
Tumblr savior “#ardentsonata blabs” to jump over text posts. I feel like blabbing about character limits because I don’t want to code. Some thoughts on character limits and what they do for language. Personally character limits are very hit or miss for me, it really depends on my mood. But the times I do like it is because it really makes me think about what I have to say,...

vermillion-crown replied to your post: Blergh Why would someone want to skip your text posts? :O ohohoho, because I can get very heated in my rhetoric, or very boring and whiny. :3 I make liberal use of “read mores” though so it’s less of an issue I suppose, but I always provide the option :P Some people come here for the funny images, or fandoms I reblog \o/ So they have the...

ghoulmann: Poetry is considered a form of literary art in which language is used for its aesthetic and evocative qualities. It contains multiple interpretations and therefore resonates differently in each reader. Code is the language used to communicate with computers. It has its own rules (syntax) and meaning (semantics). Like literature writers or poets, coders also have their own style that...

This happened yesterday while I was in WalMart.
Male cashier with multiple tattoos (two of them are colored in with rainbow): How are you this evening?
Me: Pretty good. Starving, obviously. How are you?
Cashier: Not bad. I can't wait to get off my shift and get home to my boyfriend.
Woman behind me: Wait, you're gay?
Cashier: Yeah. . . ?
Woman: That's a shame.
Me: Why?
Woman: He seemed like such a wonderful man, it's a shame he's gay.
Cashier: Why is it a shame?
Woman: It's wrong! It's immoral, it's dis-
Me: Excuse me, but what's it to you if he's gay?
Woman: It's offensive!
Me: But how does it affect you?
Woman: What?
Me: Where exactly does it start to make sense that it affects you? A relationship is between 2 people, not 3.
Woman: *sputters a bit, then leaves without her food*
Cashier: . . . Wow, thank you.
Me: Ignorant people are the reason I claim to be allergic to the human race.
